At their regularly-scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 5 meeting, Taylor County School Board members took “emergency” action and voted to appoint Paul Dyal as “temporary interim superintendent” to fill the void left by the surprise resignation of sitting Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr.
Dyal, who previously served two terms as school superintendent (2008-16) before retiring, has 44 years of experience in education – including 31 years with the Taylor County School District.
