Commission seeking funding for complex, fire station

The Taylor County Commission plans to ask for financial assistance from the Florida Legislature for the Taylor County Sports Complex, Taylor County Courthouse and a potential new fire station in Steinhatchee.

The commission discussed its legislative appropriation requests during the Tuesday, Sept. 7, meeting in preparation for the upcoming legislative delegation meeting featuring Sen. Loranne Ausley and Rep. Jason Shoaf, which has yet to be scheduled.
