County seeking property to widen Deadman’s Curve

The Taylor County Commission has instructed its attorney to negotiate with a property owner along Deadman’s Curve on Beach Road in an attempt to purchase the necessary land to eventually widen the curve.

The Florida Department of Transportation has pledged to pay for the project if the county first secures the needed property.
