Nealy Wayne McCranie

Nealy Wayne McCranie, 84, passed away on Oct. 18, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Laura Mae McCranie, and a granddaughter, Kasey.He is survived by his/their children: Mickey (Dana), David (Jamie), Laurie, Glen and Melissa (Greg); eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.Neal was a Navy veteran, serving aboard the heavy cruiser USS Los Angeles during the Korean War. He was a very active member and past president of local VFW and was instrumental in the development of Veterans Memorial Park.
