The City of Perry has received the first of two $1.7 million payments from the federal government as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
City Manager Taylor Brown informed the council on Oct. 12 that the city had received the first half of its $3.4 million in grant funding under the ARPA signed into law by President Joe Biden in March 2021.
