Man arrested for domestic violence

Deputies responding to a domestic battery call Friday, Oct. 22, also uncovered a case of severe animal abuse – finding the decomposing corpse of a dog inside the home of a 26-year-old Taylor County man.

The initial call referenced Zachary Taylor Russell allegedly throwing an object at the victim’s head and causing a laceration that required treatment at the hospital.
