    New brush truck will cost county $240,000

    The Taylor County Commission has selected 911 Rapid Response of Anvilla, Pa., to deliver a new brush truck for Taylor County Fire-Rescue (TCFR), pulling $25,250 out of reserves to cover a budget shortfall.

    The board opened the bids during its Oct. 4 meeting, with 911 Rapid Response providing the lowest bid of $240,250. The other bids were $256,500 from REV Group of Ocala and $270,676 from Rosenbauer NAFECO of Decatur, Ala.
