County receives $750,000 grant to rehab housing

Taylor County has received a $750,000 grant to fund housing rehabilitation projects in the unincorporated area of the county.

The Taylor County Commission approved the agreement for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) during its Oct. 19 meeting. The county used $50,000 of its State Housing Initiatives Partnership program (SHIP) award as the local match.
