Interim Superintendent of Schools Paul Dyal is slated to recommend that the school district pay out $128,600 in incentive/retention bonuses to administrators, principals and other employees who were not included in the bonus packages for teachers and non-instructional personnel (see related story above.)
Under Dyal’s proposal, principals — who have already received a $1,000 bonus from the state — would each receive $3,000 from the school district, while assistant principals and other district administrators would receive $4,000 each. Administrative assistants, data entry employees and truancy officers would each receive $1,550.
