Teacher fired for alleged battery

An ESE teacher at Taylor County Primary School was fired Tuesday following an investigation that revealed alleged instances of battery against a student in her classroom.

Robin Walker, who has been with the district since the 2017-18 school year, was initially placed on paid leave Oct. 14 when allegations of misconduct were first brought against her.
