Girls beat Jefferson, 8-0

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) Lady Bulldogs’ soccer team kicked off the 2021 season with a dominating 8-0 victory over Jefferson County Monday night at home, winning their season-opener in a game shortened by the “mercy rule” with eight minutes remaining on the clock in the second half.

Alana Hall led Taylor County’s offensive charge with an epic night, scoring five goals, while Kinsey Goodman scored twice and Mallory Folsom scored once.
