Dana Philip Emmette

Dana Philip Emmette, 63, passed away on Nov. 6, 2021, in Perry.

He was born Oct. 4, 1958, in Pensacola to David Emmette and Mary Mott.

Dana was of the Christian faith and was a member of Pentecostals of Perry.

He was an extremely talented musician, who played several instruments. He produced CDs for several different artist.

Dana was preceded in death by his father, David Emmette.

He is survived by: his mother, Mary Mott; his sister, Sherilan and her husband, Richard Lane; two stepbrothers, Steve and Loy Allen Gulsby; and one stepsister, Donna Waters; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Pineview Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. John Johns officiating. The family will receive friends today (Wednesday) at Burns Funeral Home from 1-1:50 p.m.
