Hours changing for COVID testing at health department

In light of reduced demand for COVID-19 testing, coupled with the recent time change, the testing schedule at the Florida Department of Health, overseen by Nomi Health, is changing its hours.

Testing will now occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend testing will no longer be available.

In addition to weekends, testing will also be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day), Thursday, Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving Day), Friday, Nov. 26 (Friday after Thanksgiving), Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve), Friday, Dec. 31 (New Years Eve) and Monday, Jan. 17 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day).
