DMH prepares to comply with vaccine mandate

Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) has begun preparations to ensure it will be compliant with a new federal mandate requiring employees of most U.S. health care providers be vaccinated against COVID-19.

According to DMH CEO Chris Schmidt, last week the local hospital started talking with hospital personnel to establish plans, policies and tracking mechanisms in order to be ready to meet the first of two deadlines, which is now less than three weeks away.
