After being held at the Taylor County Jail for more than 18 months, a Perry man facing a first-degree murder charge is eligible to be released on bond after Circuit Judge Greg Parker granted a motion during a pre-trial hearing here on Monday.
Kenneth Brian Burns has remained in custody since he was originally ordered held without bond after being arrested in May 2020 in connection with the stabbing death of his ex-wife, Lori Burns.
