Property rights made stronger

The Taylor County Commission has agreed to transmit a proposed amendment to the county’s comprehensive plan that would add a property-rights element to the county’s guiding planning document.

The change is required by recent state legislation, and the commission cannot process any other land use or comp plan changes before it is approved and finalized.
