Prison offers $5,000 bonuses

Newly-hired correctional officers at Taylor Correctional Institution (Taylor CI) are now eligible to receive up to $5,000 in sign-on bonuses, effective immediately, after Gov. Ron DeSantis announced an increase in hiring incentives Wednesday.

The bonus, which is capped at $5,000, is an increase from the $3,000 cap previously offered to new hires.
