The U.S. Centers of Disease Control (CDC) announced on Friday, Nov. 19, that it is now recommending COVID-19 booster shots for all adults who received the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines six months ago or more.
Previously, the official recommendation from the CDC limited boosters to those 65 years of age or older, or those who have compromised immune systems due to a specific list of conditions.
