Doyle Jerry Collins

Doyle Jerry Collins Jr., 61, passed away on Nov. 20, 2021, in Perry. He was born June 1, 1960 in Perry to Doyle Jerry Collins Sr. and Betty Lou Hendry Collins. Jerry was of the Baptist faith, He worked as a Class A welder for more than 40 years. He loved the outdoors – fishing and hunting was some of his many passions, along with the Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Doyle Jerry Collins Sr. and Betty Lou Hendry Collins; his brother, Rickey Collins, and a daughter, Elizabeth. Jerry is survived by: his sister, Gayle, and her husband, Alan Smith; his stepmother, Brenda Young; two stepchildren, Brandon and Ciera; two nieces, Jessica and Ashlie; and a nephew, Adrian; along with a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held, at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
