Giveaway set Dec. 5

“Holidays for Heroes” has partnered with VFW Post 9225 and Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI) to provide live Christmas trees for local veterans.

The Christmas tree giveaway will be held this Sunday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Taylor Senior Citizens Center (800 West Ash Street). Trees will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
