Janice Edwards Gunter

Janice Edwards Gunter, 77, a lifelong resident of Perry, passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 26, 2021, from a long-term illness.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Dina) Gunter; her granddaughter, Virginia “Genny” Gunter; two brothers, Larry (Francis) Edwards and Ronnie (Becky) Edwards; brother-in-law, Alec (Linda); and a host of family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Gunter; a son, Mike Gunter; and her parents, Buck and Vera Edwards.

She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 

She loved to fish, travel with her husband and genealogy. She loved the hunt of researching family history.

Viewing was held Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Perry Chapel.

Graveside services will be today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Indian Springs Cemetery on Foxhunter Grade off the Beach Road with a lunch to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
