Maddix James Padgett, infant son of Michael J. Padgett II and Lacey Horton Padgett, passed away on Nov. 19, 2021, in Tallahassee. He is survived by: his parents, Michael J. and Lacey Padgett II; his brother. Michael J. Padgett III; grandparents, Danny and Zodie Horton, and Michael and Tanya Padgett; great-grandparents, T. Wilkie Gibson, and Cecelia and Tony Strevel, and Raymond Padgett; great-great-grandmother, Peggy Strevel; aunts and uncles, Sky and Ryan Slayton, Daniel and Brianna Horton, Maci Padgett, Casey Markham, Felisha Padgett, Nicholas Padgett and Justin Padgett; and cousins, Caydance and Eva Slayton.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Brother Ben Kimmell officiating.
