Temple of God moves forward with assisted living facility

The Temple of God Church is moving forward with opening a six-bed assisted living facility at its church building located at the corner of Sandra Street and U.S. Highway 98.

Gail French, wife of Pastor Robert French, spoke with the Taco Times Monday to clarify the issue. (Last Friday’s Perry News-Herald reported that the Perry City Council blocked a zoning change which would have allowed the church to open a 12-bed facility.)
