Taylor escapes serious damage from hurricanes

The active 2021 Atlantic hurricane season officially concluded Tuesday, Nov. 30, after producing 21 named storms, including seven hurricanes, of which four were major hurricanes.

This above-average hurricane season was accurately predicted by NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, a division of the National Weather Service, in their May and August outlooks.
