For the eighth year in a row, those who utilize the local in-town Big Bend Transit (BBT) shuttle service will receive an early holiday gift, after the county agreed to waive fees to ride beginning today (Wednesday, Dec. 8) and continuing through Jan. 5, 2022.
The combined cost of all the free rides typically runs around $300 to $400 for the entire holiday season. And, as in past years, the cost was covered by a donation made by County Attorney Conrad Bishop.
