Fourteen children ages 5-11 have received COVID vaccine in Taylor County; cases once again rising

Fourteen children ages 5 to 11 in Taylor County have received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine since the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) approved the drug for younger populations.

Meanwhile, after reaching a low of just two cases two weeks ago, COVID-19 cases have risen over the past two weeks, with six cases reported between Nov. 19-25 and 15 cases reported last week, according to the Florida Department of Health (DOH).
