    Floyd Henry Odom Jr.

    Floyd Henry Odom Jr., 87, passed away on Dec. 4, 2021, at his residence in Perry.

    A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 12, at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church The family will receive friends from 3-3:30 p.m.

    All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.

    Wayne Neal Sadler

    Wayne Neal Sadler, 48, passed away on Dec. 5, 2021, in Madison County Memorial Hospital.

    Neal was born May 18, 1973, in Perry to Wayne O’Neal Sadler and Brenda Mosley Sadler.

    He attended Taylor County High School and went to work at Sportcraft soon after where he became a welder.

    He worked as a welder with United Welding Services for 15 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed dog hunting, watching Gator football and spending time with his family and friends.

    Neal is survived by: his wife of 13 years, Latricia Michelle Sadler; three daughters, Macy Lane (Brandy) Sadler, Marlee Breanna Sadler and Carrie Beth Sadler, all of Perry; his parents, Brenda and Wayne Sadler of Perry; and two brothers, Tony (LeAda) Sadler and Gator (Patricia) Sadler, all of Perry; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Memorial services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Jeremy Gray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
