Beshears, Hall file to run in 2022 elections

The field of local 2022 candidates has expanded by two, as Alicia York Beshears has filed to run for Taylor County Superintendent of Schools, and City of Perry Mayor Alan C. Hall has submitted the paperwork required to seek a third term in office.

Beshears is the first candidate to file to run in the special election scheduled for 2022 to fill the superintendent’s position vacated by Dr. Danny Glover Jr. earlier this fall when he resigned from office.
