County helps Steinhatchee School

Demonstrating an early example of the giving spirit associated with the holiday season, the Taylor County Commission has agreed to assist the Taylor County School District by providing some needed maintenance at Steinhatchee School.

At the commission’s Dec. 6 meeting, County Administrator LaWanda Pemberton presented a request from Interim Superintendent Paul Dyal asking the county to provide tractor work to shape the infield portion of the ball field at the school. The request was approved by the Taylor County School board in October.
