Norma Jean Horner, 75, passed away on Dec. 14, 2021, in Tallahassee. Norma Jean was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Shady Grove to Luther Wilson and Zettie Walters Wilson. and the best granny in the whole world. She enjoyed being outside working in her yard or fishing out in the boat. Her favorite thing to do was traveling with her husband. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leonard Horner; her parents, Luther and Zettie Wilson; sisters, Mary Lee Horton and Barbara Ann Russell; and her brothers, Thomas Wilson and Udell Wilson. Mrs. Horner is survived by: her children, Marty Horner, Gary (Holly) Horner, Scott great-grandchildren; her brother, Davis (Joann) Wilson; and her sister, Lucille Knowles; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Elder Gary Blanton officiating. Interment will services follow immediately afterward in Fellowship Cemetery in Eridu The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m., at the funeral home.
