The Taylor County Commission has signed a pair of participation agreements, taking the next step in settlement proceedings that should resolve all litigation filed by states and local governments against the nation’s largest pharmaceutical companies for their role in the nationwide opioid epidemic.
According to the state’s estimates, Taylor County could receive a total of a little over $806,000 to “remediate and abate the impacts of the opioid crisis.”
