Heart issue may have led to vehicle crash

A local family is mourning the loss of a beloved husband, father and grandfather who died Sunday, Jan. 2, leading to a single-vehicle crash on Red Padgett Road.

Walter Johnson, who would have celebrated his 59th birthday on Jan. 12, was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday afternoon.
