Couple face child neglect charges

A Perry couple is facing child neglect charges after their naked toddler – covered in dried feces and smelling of urine — was spotted running toward Puckett Road without any adult supervision Thursday, Dec. 30.

Both parents were at the residence and said they were unaware the child was in the front yard when Perry Police Department (PPD) officers stopped to check on the two-year-old.
