Minnie L. Clark

81, passed away on Jan. 2, 2022 in Perry. She was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Eagle Lake to John W. Kirkland and Vula Mae Gatlin Kirkland.

Aunt Minnie was a Christian and a member of Antioch Revival Center. She loved her church and she was active in her church – when the doors were open, she was there. She especially loved her church family and the many people she helped.

Minnie also loved to go crabbing and fishing, being in the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Vula Mae Kirkland, and her daughter, Diane Marie Ricketson.

Ms. Clark is survived by: her daughter, Sherri Ruth; her son-in-law, Tillman Ricketson; her sisters, Edith Watson, Merry Ann Watson and Rhoda Taylor; and five grandchildren; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Antioch Revival Center with Brother Cricket Watson and Brother Bebe Barwick officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Antioch Revival Center building fund.
