Macie P. Hill

Macie P. Hill, 81, passed away on Jan. 3, 2022, in Perry.

She was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Perry to Lester York and Lillie M. Ward York.

Macie was a loving mother and worked for many years at Tom’s Food. 

She was a Baptist and attended Faith Baptist Church and Friendship Baptist Church. 

She enjoyed crocheting and had three dogs that she loved dearly.

Macie was preceded in death by: her parents, Lester and Lillie York; two sons, Jeff and Adrian Crain; and three brothers, James, Murray and “Bunk” York.

She is survived by her son, Eldon Hill Jr. and one grandson, Charlie Hill.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan.  6, at 1 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Keith Parker officiating. Interment services will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. 

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
