Pedestrian struck, killed on Hwy. 19

A 54-year-old Perry man was struck and killed during the early-morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 5, just north of Iddo on Highway 19.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported that a 31-year-old Perry woman was traveling southbound on U.S. 19 in the outside lane just before 1 a.m. when the front of her vehicle collided with the man – who was also in the outside lane.
