DOH-Taylor currently testing hundreds of people per day

With a surge in COVID-19 positive cases — believed to be associated with the Omicron variant — spreading through Taylor County and beyond, demand for testing is also on the rise.

According to Florida Department of Health in Taylor County’s (DOH-Taylor) Operations Manager Martine Young, 254 people were tested on Wednesday alone at their free drive-through site on Ash Street.
