Three of the four baseball fields at the Taylor County Sports Complex will soon be converted into multi-use fields in a move that local officials hope will increase the number of tournaments held at the local facility.
Back in November, the Taylor County Commission agreed to spend up to $45,000 to “skin” the infields of the three baseball diamonds and replace the grass with clay, allowing them to be used for both baseball and softball games.
