Although Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is seeing an increase in COVID-19 patients in its emergency room, so far the hospital is reporting very few admissions due to COVID or influenza.
According to figures provided by DMH Vice President of Operations Sara Grambling, the hospital has seen a “moderately high volume of influenza-like illnesses” in the ER, with positivity rates rising for COVID and dropping for flu so far in January when compared to December.
