County outlines property rights in comprehensive plan

The Taylor County Commission has approved an amendment to the county’s comprehensive plan, adding a property-rights element to the county’s guiding planning document.

The change was required by recent state legislation, and the commission cannot process any other land use or comp plan changes before it is approved and finalized.
