With the number of positive COVID-19 cases rising rapidly over the past two weeks, parents have been forced to adjust to constantly-changing guidelines, while the school district has grappled with the absence of dozens of staff members.
As of Wednesday, the Taylor County School District reportedly had 44 staff members and 22 students missing school due to a COVID positive test, quarantine or related reasons.
