On Monday, Jan. 31, the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will present an in-person program featuring Florida State Archives historian and author Dr. Josh Goodman.
The free program will be held at the library, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Goodman is a sixth-generation Taylor County native, who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from Florida State University and a doctorate in history from Tulane University in New Orleans.
He is the author of “Forest Capital: A History of Taylor County Florida,” a well-researched and well-documented history of Taylor County.
Copies of “Forest Capital” are currently on display and available for check-out at the Taylor County Public Library and may be purchased locally at The Book Mart.
The program will also be streamed lives via the Friend’s Facebook page.
