Superintendent of Schools Paul Dyal proposes the local school district “grow our own highly-qualified teachers,” under a teacher recruitment program presented to the school board during a workshop held last Tuesday.
According to Dyal’s proposed recruitment and retention program, the district school board would reimburse college tuition to each local high school graduate that graduates from a four-year college or university and hires on at one of the district’s five schools.
