Deadman’s Curve property purchased

he Taylor County Commission has formally agreed to purchase one of the two pieces of property necessary to widen Deadman’s Curve on Beach Road.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has pledged to pay the construction costs associated with the project — estimated to be around $600,000 — if the county first secures the needed property.
