Taylor leads state

Taylor County reported a record-high number of COVID-19 cases for the second straight week, as the Omicron variant continued to surge through the region.

According to the latest report from the Florida Department of Health (DOH), there were 584 positive COVID cases reported in Taylor County during the seven-day period that ended Thursday, Jan. 27.
