    Alice Bethelene Albritton

    Alice Bethelene Albritton, 89, passed away on Feb. 5, 2022 in Perry.

    She was born March 18, 1932, in Perry to Ivory Freeman and Thelma Clark Freeman.

    Alice was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother, a marvelous grandmother and a friend to everyone. She loved gardening, sewing, fishing and cooking.

    She worked as a CNA for 18 years at Perry Health Facility.

    Alice was preceded in death by: her husband of 37 years, Willie Albritton; her parents, Ivory and Thelma Freeman; her sister, Algia Freeman; brothers, Kenneth Freeman, W.B. Freeman, Lester Freeman, Ray L. Freeman and Roy Freeman.

    She is survived by: five children, Macon Albritton, A.R. Albritton and his wife, Zillah, Martha Albritton, Wanda McElveen and her husband, Wayne, and Maurice Albritton; two grandsons, Chad Albritton and Stanley McElveen; one granddaughter, Ashlee Albritton; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    Graveside services were held on Monday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery with Brother Cody McNeese and Brother Crickett Watson officiating. The family received friends prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m., at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.

    All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
