Feagle to help appoint medical examiner

The Taylor County Commission has appointed one of its own, Commissioner Pam Feagle, to serve on a search committee that will appoint a new medical examiner for the eight-county district that includes Taylor County.

Taylor County Administrator LaWanda Pemberton was recently notified by Second Judicial Circuit State Attorney Jack Campbell that longtime medical examiner Dr. David Stewart plans to retire from his post.
