New COVID-19 cases fell for the second straight week in Taylor County after peaking in late January due to the Omicron surge.
According to the latest report from the Florida Department of Health (DOH), there were 206 new cases reported during the seven-day period ending Thursday, Feb. 10. This marked a 39% decrease from the week before, when there were 339 new cases, and a 64% decrease from the record 584 cases reported between Jan. 21-27.
