Ketring to seek re-election

Perry City Council Member Ward Ketring has filed to run for re-election this year, seeking a second term in office.

Ketring first won election to the District 5 seat in 2018, defeating fellow challenger Tonya Holton with 60% of the 345 total votes cast. Ketring replaced Council Member David Sullivan, who initially filed to run for a second term, but later dropped out of the 2018 race.
