Unresponsive man found in holding pond

A routine trip to the grocery store Sunday morning likely resulted in a life-saving rescue call for a Perry man and his mother, Betty Franklin.

James Dees said they were nearing Walmart shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday when they happened to notice something in the holding pond located north of Walmart and east of Aaron’s Rentals.
